The app is source-available, not open source: the source code may be read, built and used privately; redistribution and commercial use are not permitted. The licence terms in the repository are authoritative.

Bundled third-party software keeps its own licence, in particular the chess engine Stockfish under GPL-3.0, whose corresponding source is attached to every release. The Inter typeface used here is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Further notices are provided with the third-party licences in the repository.
